England's East Midlands is the fourth largest region in the country, it covers an area of 15,008 square kilometres and is home to a population of 4.4 million.
The East Midlands comprises the counties of Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Londonshire and Rutland. The region contains magnificent castles and stately homes providing a unique glimpse into the past, inspiring countryside with sweeping green hills and dramatic rocky outcrops, cosmopolitan cities combining shopping with night life, historic market towns, majestic gardens and a host of locations that have attracted a wide range of productions.
